Prepare vehicle and original-wheel references, design requirements, quantity and installation details for a China sourcing review.
A vehicle name or wheel diameter alone does not establish fitment. Send the vehicle make, model, year and target market, with clear photographs of the original wheel face and its design. Include wheel dimensions and markings where available. FarDrive coordinates supplier review; fitment must be confirmed for the specific wheel and proposed cover.
State whether you want a displayed design, a modified finish or a new design. Send sketches, reference photographs or drawings and identify the details you want to change. Styling, colour, branding, openings, mounting structure and packaging can be discussed. Feasibility, tooling, design ownership and costs require written agreement before development.
Describe how the cover should attach and which wheel surfaces it contacts. The displayed sample has rear cushioning foam, clips and supplementary adhesive tape. These features are sample-specific; a custom design may use a different structure. Ask the supplier to confirm mounting compatibility, contact protection and installation instructions. A photograph does not establish noise reduction, retention strength or safety performance.
Give the sample quantity and expected batch quantity, destination, required delivery date, finish and packaging. Clarify whether quantities are individual covers or complete sets, and how many covers make up each set. Tooling, sample, development and transport costs are confirmed separately where applicable; no standard MOQ or delivery date is implied.
Before a batch order, agree who will evaluate fitment, finish, fixing structure and the requested protective features. Identify the reference wheel, evaluation method and acceptance criteria. Record the approved design or sample revision and how changes will be handled. Supplier statements about materials or performance need the evidence appropriate to the agreed requirement.
