FARDRIVE / BUYER GUIDE

Working with FarDrive: scope, quotations and responsibilities

Understand FarDrive’s China sourcing coordination, project pricing, contract and payee confirmation, samples and quality issue handling.

Who coordinates the project?

Send drawings, samples or application requirements, quantities and delivery needs. Specifications and manufacturing feasibility are reviewed for your project.

What does the service cover?

The agreed scope may include supplier screening, technical questions, quotations, samples, production progress and inspection or shipment coordination. Before proceeding, confirm the activities FarDrive will perform, the documents required and the decisions that remain with the buyer and manufacturer. Coordination alone is not independent certification or a performance guarantee.

How are quotations and fees agreed?

Procurement quotations may include a supply-chain service margin or project commission. Longer-term coordination services are priced according to the agreed scope and project complexity. Sample, development and transport costs are normally borne by the customer. Confirm the quotation inclusions and any separately charged items before committing; do not assume the quoted price is the factory’s unadjusted price.

Who signs, invoices and receives payment?

The cooperating factory normally contracts, invoices and receives payment, with the arrangement confirmed in writing before each order. Identify the legal contracting party, invoice issuer and payee, and agree payment terms and delivery terms. Payment methods depend on the contracting parties; no escrow or letter-of-credit availability is promised here.

How are quality requirements agreed?

Specify drawings and revisions, materials, dimensions, tolerances, approved samples and the inspection documents required. Agree inspection scope, who performs it and acceptance criteria before production. Manufacturing obligations and remedies belong in the written agreement with the relevant parties; FarDrive’s coordination responsibilities should also be explicit.

What happens if a deviation is found?

Taylor informs the buyer of identified deviations and coordinates technical discussion with the factory. Document the issue, affected parts and quantities, evidence and the proposed corrective action. Obtain buyer agreement for changes where required. Replacement, rework, refund and associated costs are resolved under the agreed terms rather than assumed from the website.

How do I start?

Send the product requirement, reference or drawing, quantity and destination through the inquiry form or WhatsApp. An automated Telegram assistant can help with initial information; quotations, technical approvals, payment arrangements and quality decisions require direct human coordination with Taylor. No fixed response or sample lead time is promised.
